InterAct's core services include diagnosis of performance issues and causes, instructional design, training delivery, development of training evaluation systems, transfer planning, coaching and overall project management for contracted engagements. Over 60% of the work we engage in is in the business development arena and focuses in the areas of sales, marketing and customer service. We also deliver training and consulting services in topic areas such as leadership and management development, supervisory skills, team building, human resource management, and train-the-trainer.
The first step in our process involves validating that training is an appropriate intervention that will bring the desired performance improvements to the company. We accomplish this through the use of conceptual diagnostic models to identify the root causes of performance issues. Next, needs analysis is performed and a measurement of the gap between the desired skills and behaviors and the actual skills and behaviors is taken to determine what the training curriculum should be. A customized training curriculum is then developed which aligns the learning objectives with the desired behavioral changes. We intentionally put energy and effort into "selling" the proposed curriculum and behavioral changes to both participants and key management stakeholders. Extensive planning occurs to manage the transfer of learning from the classroom back to the job.
Another important aspect of our training services involves intentional follow up and accountability. Holding participants and stakeholders accountable for behavioral change is a key to the success of the solutions provided by InterAct Training Group. Accountability is a natural by-product of our approach, through the creation and implementation of job aids, follow-up activities, training evaluation systems and transfer planning.
Vicki started her training career in 1994, and brings over 20 years of practical experience in the fields of sales and marketing, sales management, and training and development. Leading businesses have established a partnership with Vicki to optimize organizational effectiveness, employee performance, and overall profitability. Throughout Ms. Flesher's career, a diversity of industries including health care, education, manufacturing, staffing, banking and government have benefited from her expertise. Vicki has provided consulting and training services to such businesses as: Bombardier Aerospace, Cargill Companies, Raytheon Aircraft, Cessna Finance Corporation, Emprise Bank, Intek Plastics, Boeing Company, The Wichita State University, The City of Wichita, and Larksfield Place.
Authorized distributor and certified trainer for Inscape Publishing (DiSC and Adventures in Attitudes) and The Sales Board (Action Selling). She is also certified to teach Achieve Global materials, DDI's Targeted Selection, Crucial Conversations, Action Selling, Adventures in Attitudes and the DiSC.
Steve Flesher is the co-owner of InterAct Training Group. His background includes over twenty years of experience in direct sales and business development. Steve has applied his sales and business development expertise to such diverse projects as air service development and airline recruitment for the City of Wichita and Wichita Mid-Continent Airport, sales and business development initiatives for a laboratory consulting firm, sales of medical laboratory diagnostic equipment and laboratory testing services to hospitals, physicians, and smaller reference laboratories, and sales of animal health pharmaceuticals. Steve is a sales and marketing professional that offers clients business development and consulting services. He is skilled at identifying market opportunities and creating plans and strategies to capitalize on those opportunities.
